Acer triflorum
Purchased for $10. from Beth Arnold when she moved. It was a small seedling about 1' tall. It is located in a challenging (dry, under a hickory, not much light) and has grown nicely. Pruned a long branch off in 2010 that I debated about removing for a couple years. It looks better with the branch off. Smooth hickory planted nearby has died (2011) and this will get more sun in the future.
